There are not many finer locations in the world to race yachts than around the scenic waters of the Firth of Clyde.
Flanked by the Isle of Bute, Great Cumbrae and the Scottish mainland, the racing area provides a good test of a sailor's skill and concentration. As a result, competitors travel from across the UK and Ireland to take in the most popular regatta in Scotland.
On Saturday 28th August, Keelboats race in the area to the north of Cumbrae while dinghy racing takes place around the cans within the Largs Channel with up to 4 races on the day.
On Sunday 29th August, it's the famous Round Cumbraes Race - a long distance race around Big Cumbrae for the dinghies and catamarans, and both islands for the keelboats.
Classes include IRC, RC35, CYCA, restricted sail and dinghy.
